DuoDrip will partecipate at the SCAE Awards: come and visit us to see how it works!
DuoDrip is the first product branded EDO Barista and the spearhead of the 2016 collection. It will be presented by Davide Berti, inventor of the double cone system, and by Valentina Fonda, Edo Barista project manager.
“We really believe in this project” explain Valentina, “and thanks to the technical support of Nuova Ricambi and IMF Filtri we created a brand new extraction system. So far we presented the Double Cone at Host 2015 in Milano, Hotelex 2016 in Shanghai, at Food&Hotel Asia in Singapore, at Fispal in Sao Paulo: we always we have been overwhelmed by congratulations of people coffee industry ”.
The identity of every EDO product is to be searched on the real nature of EDO which, in fact, is not just a brand: it is a Baristas meeting point, an amplifier of ideas, a maker of dreams.
Edo is the place where a copywriter and a cartoonist, both coffee lovers, could make their dream come true, and design a comics starring EDO and his coffee world; a place where every Barista or Coffee lover can present his idea, and work with experts to make it come true and became a real product to be sold on the market.
This is what happened to Davide Berti, the Italian barista who had a brilliant idea and found in EDO a team where with passion and professionalism give birth to the DuoDrip, the double metal cone now participating at the SCAE Excellence Awards at World of Coffee 2016.
The 22nd of June the community of coffee specialists will choose what will be the most innovative product of 2016: we believe that the jury will be surprised by all the potentials offered by this new extraction method which gives to every Barista the possibility to play with 2 different blends which will be extracted separately, the first by irroration, the second by percolation.
During the 3 days of the World of Coffee, Davide Berti will hold demonstrations on the use of the double cone and you will discover all the potentials offered by the double extraction. The demonstrations will be hold:
- Stand A21 - IMS Filtri: 12am
- Stand D28 - Nuova Ricambi: 10am and 3pm (where it will be possible also to buy the DuoDrip)
The 22nd of June DuoDrip will also be put on display at Stand S7-S9 - New Product of the Show Awards Area.
