Edo: a full week in Trieste to promote the project YOU'RE NEXT!

Trieste, the European capital of coffee, will be literally overwhelmed for a whole week by numerous events and initiatives, that will take place in every historical and literary cafe of the city, in the old port for the 8^th edition of the Triestespresso Expo and in the main seat for all activities and workshops of the Trieste Coffee Festival: the Hub Impact of Casa Maier, located in via Cavana 14.

Edo participates to the big festival to stay as near as possible to the baristas: the brand is the result of years spent in close contact with the best international baristas and it’s from them and with them that some of the most innovative products were born: through ‘YOU’RE NEXT!’ every barista can directly contact the experts of Edo’s team to suggest an idea for an innovative product and work in close contact with the R&D and marketing departments to evaluate its creation, launch on the market and distribution.

Edo’s intent is to create a line of products born to fulfil the needs of every barista and to look for new ideas and projects to develop together with the baristas.

The founder of the project You are Next! is the DuoDrip, the metal double cone signed by the world champion Davide Berti, studied to exalt every blend’s aroma of Specialty Coffees, thanks to the double extraction.

Davide will make practical demonstrations of the DuoDrip in two workshops:

• Thursday 20^th 4.30 pm: at the workshops area, Hall 26 of Triestespresso
• Saturday 22^nd 5.00 pm: at the Hub Impact located in via Cavana 14, main seat of the Trieste Coffee Festival

Moreover, it will be possible to meet Edo’s project manager, Valentina Fonda, to receive news about the project ‘YOU’RE NEXT!’, to suggest an original idea or to simply have a chat:

• From 20^th to 22^nd October at the Triestespresso Expo (Booth 35-37, Hall 28) it will also be possible to test the tamper prototype that Edo is developing with the barista Andrea Villa of the M10 Cafè located in Lesmo and give a contribute to the project.
• Sunday 23^rd form h.15.00 pm to 18.00 pm in the Barista Free area of the Hub Impact located in via Cavana 14 in occasion of the Barista Capo in B Championship.

 “One week in Trieste will be a unique occasion for Edo to meet Italian and International baristas and involve them in ‘YOU’RE NEXT!’, the innovative project with the motto: from Baristas, to Baristas” says Valentina, born in Triest and now living in Milan, that continues: “EDO represents the perfect synthesis of e sector made of people, daily life, emotions and wishes lingering in the involving coffee’s aroma. Our aim is to give voice to baristas and let them give life to innovative tools, thought in response to professionals’ daily needs”.
