Sigep 2022 is upon us: everything is ready for the Italian Championships of coffee professionals

EDO Barista will support the championships organized by the Specialty Coffee Italy Association (SCA Italy)

The EDO Barista team will be present at SIGEP in Rimini, from 12 to 16 March 2022, and you will find us in Hall D1, Booth 09.

The fair is an international reference point for the ice cream, pastry, coffee and artisan bakery sectors. You will find many professionals in these sectors. However, what pleases us most is that the national barista competitions will finally be back on stage.

The Italian championships for the Barista, Brewers Cup and Cup Tasters categories will take place during the five days of Sigep.

The 2022 Italian winners of the Barista and Brewers Cup categories will return to compete at the Melbourne WCC World Championships - from 27 to 30 September 2022. Those who earn the first Italian place in the Cup Tasters category will compete in the world championship during the World Of Coffee in Warsaw, from 23 to 25 June 2022. During that event, the first place worldwide in the Latte Art, Coffee in Good Spirits, Ibrik and Roasting categories will also be contested.

The Edo Barista team will be on hand to let you try some of the latest accessories for yourself. You will find San Goshi, an always smiling and super professional bartender, welcoming you at the counter.

During the fair, we organized a couple of events at our stand. So, mark in your diary:

Saturday 12 March, from 1 pm to 2 pm, Gianni Cocco, Trainer and Maestro del Caffè AICAF, proposes a workshop Latte Art Show - Rules and tricks for making a cappuccino with Latte Art.

Sunday 13 March, from 1pm to 2pm, there will be another appointment with Gianni Cocco with the workshop The Classic Drinks in the Cafeteria: tips and tricks on the best equipment to have at hand in the cafeteria.
